Hi, I'm Si Chen!

I am a postdoctoral fellow in Responsible AI in Education at the University of Notre Dame, affiliated with Notre Dame Learning, the Lucy Family Institute for Data & Society, and CSE. I am fortunately mentored by Prof. Ronald Metoyer and Nitesh Chawla. I earned my Ph.D. in Information Sciences from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in September 2024. My research focuses on Human-Computer Interaction by designing, implementing, and evaluating experiences, tools, and programs for enhancing Education and/or Accessibility in an AI-driven world.
