I am a postdoctoral fellow in Responsible AI in Education at the University of Notre Dame, affiliated with Notre Dame Learning, the Lucy Family Institute for Data & Society, and CSE. My current postdoctoral mentors are Prof Nitesh V Chawla and Ronald Metoyer.
Research Interests: I am a Human-Computer Interaction researcher who designs, implements, and evaluates experiences, tools, and programs for enhancing Education and/or Accessibility in an AI-driven world.
My most recent projects:
(1) "Teaching Well with Gen AI" : understanding, supporting, and measuring teacher development in the age of Generative AI through tools and programs across various disciplines.
(2) Deaf, Hard of Hearing Learners and Gen AI- LLM prototype 1, LLM prototype 2, Survey, Co-design: understanding, supporting language and culture diverse community's interaction with LLM.
I obtained my PhD at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), School of Information Sciences, fortunately, advised by Prof. Yun Huang in September 2024. I also worked closely with Prof. Lawrence Angrave, Prof. JooYoung Seo, Prof. Kyungwon Koh from UIUC, and Prof. Raja Kushalnagar, Qi Wang from Gallaudet University. I earned my B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering focusing on Mobility and Design from Tsinghua University in 2019. I also previously worked with Prof Eric J. Perreault at Shirley Ryan Ability Lab, Northwestern University on rehabilitation.
